Sears, you STINK!

So here's my great story:

Sears had this cool deal for Father's Day: Buy $50 worth of Men's Clothing and get a $50 rebate to use in the men's department again. Sweet! So I ordered 6 shirts and a tie for $50 for Adam.

BUT! 2 of the shirts got canceled off my order because they were out of stock. So my total was no longer $50 so my rebate would not work. LAME.

I called Sears to tell them how dumb they are and see if I could get some of my money back since it was THEIR fault my total wasn't $50 anymore. I told them I would NOT have bought $50 if I wasn't going to get $50. After much backing-and-forthing and a little crying to a manger, I got her to refund my shipping cost and about 40% off of the shirts I actually got. So, we got 4 shirts for about $20. Not too shabby! I told her I needed to exchange one of the shirts because it was too big and she siad that would be fine and I could do it at a store.

So we went to Sears yesterday to exchange the shirt. Not only did we get refunded the full $17 for it (even though we already got some back), we got almost $20 for it! So...now we have 3 shirts for free. Haha. So we went to go get a new shirt for Adam since we just returned one.

We couldn't find the same one we returned but we found one he liked for $15. We get to the check out stand and the shirt rings up for $1.19! Adam tells the guy the shirt is supposed to be $15. The guy says, "Well, I'm not going to argue with the scanner."

So, all in all, we got 4 brand new, nice work shirts for less than $2.

Sears, you are total crap. But thank you!

And since we got so many shirts for super cheap, I got to go shopping. I went to Charlotte Russe adn got 4 shirts for $14!
