Two Times Tuesday!

So somehow I skipped blogging last week. I apologize to all my readers who had a terrible week because of this... HA!

Here's what's been goin on: (I didn't spell check, btw. Too lazy.)


1. The movers came on the 14th. It was as awkward as anticipated. That guy sure is weird. It took them 2 hours less to unload the truck than it did for them to load it. It was ridiculous.
Now my house is full of boxes. We have SOO much stuff! Where'd it all come from?? This is my "living room"
I've been slowly unpacking stuff. I've had some friends come over and help a few times. It WILL get done...someday.



2. Anthony found this plastic owl in our front yard. First, he yelled at it for a few minutes, "SHOOO! Shoo shoo shoo shoo SHOOOOOO!"
Then he made it his new friend. He even 'fed' it some dice. Hahaha.


3. Because my door was open ALL FREAKING DAY when the movers where here, I had about 4 jillion new fly family members in my house. Ew. Here's one that I swatted at in the air and it got stuck! Hahaha!


4. Speaking of bugs. I have seen more spiders here in the 2 weeks we've lived here than I have in the 2 1/2 years we were in our house in AZ! I hate spiders.
Luckily I found this one dead. I hear there's a pretty good bug guy that works for a bunch of my friends at church. He will for sure be getting a call soon!



5. By the way, Adam's new job is awesome. And he loves it! We found out last week that they shredded DOZENS of resumes and picked HIM! Can you see my beaming proud face?? I'm SO happy for him! Here are some pics of where he works:

6. Found this old picture while unpacking. I love it. My dad and us 4 sisters. Me, Bonnie, Darcie and Jennie. I think this was taken in 2002?


7. I made this at Fabulous Friday (Super Saturday). It's a big, all day, once-a-year, woman craft activity thing. It's just vinyl lettering on a picture frame. You write the menu with a dry erase marker. And you can put in any scrapbook paper in the frame for a cute background! Pretty cute, huh?


8. Speaking of food. Did you know you can make bacon in the OVEN on the Pampered Chef Bar Pan? I forgot to take an 'after' picture but it came out great! You don't have to turn them over and you can just let them cook while you make you pancakes and eggs! YUM-O!

10. And speaking of fall, I took some adorable pictures of my boys on fall leaves at the town square. Here are a few. The rest will be on facebook.






11. My dad had a conference in Kansas City, which is a 4 hour drive away from here. He wasn't going to go all the way to KC and NOT come see us so he drove down and spent the weekend with us!
It was so nice to have him here. The boys just love him and I'm glad someone in my family has now seen where I live. :) Here are some pics:

We went to the Pea Ridge Natinal Military Park. There was a Civil War battle there. It was very cool. Anthony didn't like the cannons at first because he thought they would be loud. We assured him they were 'broken'

This picture was taken moments before Anthony informed me he needed to go potty...no where NEAR a potty. I was hoping ADAM would be the one to teach him how to pee in the woods but he wasn't there. Haha. I got peed on. It was great.

12. I FINALLY got to take Adam out for dinner in celebration of his new wicked awesome job. We went to a place in Springdale called Marketplace Grill. It was SOOO tasty! We are for sure going there again!


13. Next Tuesday, I'm attempting my Auction Show again. I really hope some people come because I've got to get my business a rollin! It's goign to be so much fun and I have some awesome products to give away including gift certificates!

Well, I think that's it for now. Next week's post will be awesome since I'll be posting the boys in their Halloween costumes trick-or-treating at Walmart and trunk-or-treating at church!
