2x the Wonderful

I was so busy the last couple weeks, I didn't blog last week. So here's the coolest stuff from the last 2 weeks:

1. I had my very first yard sale! There's not a whole lot of traffic that comes by our neighborhood so I had Part 2 of my yard sale at my friend's house the next Saturday. I made some good money but I still have a ton of stuff leftover that I don't know what to do with.


2. Last week Adam and I got to be part of the dedication of the Gila Valley Temple. It was really neat for me because my grandpa was born in Thatcher, AZ. I can't wait til they start building the Gilbert Temple because it will only be about 30 minutes from our house!


3. So I got a new calling! I am going to be the new Primary Chorister! I'm nervous but I think it will be lots of fun! And the best part about it is I get to keep my Relief Society Newsletter calling. I love doing the newsletter and now I get to do BOTH callings!


4. On May 21 at 5:26 Hawaii time, my baby sister turned 1 decade, 1 year, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour and 1 minute old! How cool is that?


5. I know I sound like a broken record here but... I. love. poppy seed. dressing! We had salad last night with grapes instead of strawberries and it was oh so delish!


6. Speaking of yummy food. We had Hungry Howies pizza for dinner the other night. I LOOOOVE their crust. I want a pizza with NO topping just whatever magical-ness they put on the crust!


7. And speaking of delicious pizza, I made one the other night, too! Just brush a refrigerated pizza crust with a bit of olive oil and a thin layer BBQ sauce. 2 cups mozzarella cheese, red peppers, green peppers, onions and chopped chicken that was cooked with Pampered Chef's Chipotle rub (or whatever you'd use to make fajitas). 20 ish minutes in 400 degrees. Ta-da Fajita Pizza! YUM!


8. You know how a red line comes under a word if your computer thinks it's spelled wrong? Well there's one under CHIPOTLE and one of the suggestions for what my computer thinks I meant to spell is 'Chippendale'. LOL.
No, spell check, I'm pretty sure I meant chipotle rub and not chippendale rub. o.O


9. Adam and I played Mario Party 8 on the Wii from 10pm-2am Sunday night. I kicked his trash, btw. :D
It was fun pretending that our bodies could handle stay up that late like they used to. We were super dead the next day!


10. Jimmy had baby oatmeal for the first time. He's not a fan.


11. There is lots of super fun stuff coming up this month and I can't wait to do them and then blog about them! Birthdays, baseball games, movies, reunions....fun fun!
