Jimmy's Birthday, Decroating the Tree, Making Cookies, etc...

We have had so much fun this past week! First, Jimmy turned ONE!

1.
We had a little party for him and opened gifts
Not interested in opening them. Daddy had to help.
A fun phone from Jimmy's friend, Ben

Blocks from Grama and Papa
Weebles from Mama and Daddy

And a doggy flashlight from my friend, Diane
Then we ate some cake! YUM!
Thanks, Betty Crocker for helping make this cake! So fancy! ;)
Jimmy's personal cake
Testing it out
"I think I like this!"

Anthony thought the cake needed something extra...
How about ALL the candles we own??

2. We went to Steak N Shake the other night. Adam used to go all the time when he was working at Disney and I've never been. It was pretty tasty and Anthony loved his milkshake!

3. We FINALLY decorated our tree! Jimmy was napping so he missed out.
Daddy helped mommy put the lights on
Anthony ready to put the star on for the first time!
Ta-da!!
All done!

4. Every year since we got married, I've bought a family ornament. And I've also bought an ornament for each kid every year. Here are our ornaments:
Our 1st Christmas 2005
Family 2006
Family 2007
Family 2008
Family 2009
Family 2010
Anthony's 1st 2007
Anthony got 2 first ornaments... :)
Anthony 2008
Anthony 2009
Anthony 2010 (I need to find a pic to put in it...)
Jimmy's 1st 2009
James 2010

5. I've had them for a while but I haven't blogged about my new boots yet! I love Charlotte Russe and they were having a buy-a-pair-of-boots-get-one-for-$10 sale. I didn't like a bunch of them so I ended up getting the same boots in 2 different colors! This color and also in black. I Love them!

6. Anthony and I made sugar cookies the other day. This kid loves to cook and bake! We had loves of fun.
So ready!

Licking the sugar cup. "Mama, this taysis GOOD!" LOL

Decorating with daddy

7. We went ice skating at the new rink here in Bentonville.

Anthony HA.TED. it.

It took us about 10 minutes to get him around the rink once. Then we took him off, took off his skates and sat him on a bench while we went around a few more times.

We even got to take James on the ice in his stroller! He loved it!

8.
Happy Anniversary to Adam and I! It's been 5 years! Since it's a milestone, we went somewhere fancy: Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! HO.LY.COW! It was SOO yummy!

But yeah, our wallet cried and we won't be doing something like that for at least another 5 years. But it was worth it to do just once! next year we'll be going somewhere like Applebee's for
sure!

And here's what I made for him! Well, I bought the wood, sanded it, painted it, ordered vinyl from my friend, applied the vinyl and then mod podged it. I love it! I think it turned our pretty nice. :)

That's all for now, friends! I hope you all have a super Merry Christmas!!

I love the Christmas Ornament idea each year. I didn't get a family one but I did get Baby Nolan a Christmas ornament and I figure if he's not here I'll just have to write "awaiting Nolan" on it. Haha!
